Etsy: Kitchen Confidential

New items up on Etsy! They're all kitchen items I've had for months but was just too lazy to put up. My scale is also too small for glass items and I don't have appropriate size boxes so I kind of winged it on the shipping estimates.

I'm always coming across gorgeous Cutler glassware but whenever I do an online search, not a lot pops up. All I know is they were based out of Toronto in the 1970s and they made a lot of really cool custom drinkware. It's unfortunate they're not more coveted by collectors because nobody is snapping up these cool pieces. Popularity kind of dictates interest and when nobody knows about a great brand, nobody wants to pay money for it.

This next item I haven't listed yet because I think I might want to use it once before getting rid of it. I've always wanted a Le Creuset dutch oven and this is the closest thing I have to it (it's enamel-coated cast iron). I got it from Memory Lane years ago before I had a booth there and I can't put it up in my booth because of the unsaid agreement that you don't resell/mark-up items from a fellow vendor (and I know that vendor's still there because I saw her re-organizing her booth).

Thrift Haul: The Big Keep

As you all know, I'm sans vehicle at the moment but that hasn't stopped me from finding a way to thrift. Namely, I borrow cars from other people and I hit as many thrift stores as possible in one trip.

This post will be a big one because it spans a few days worth of thrifting, including some stuff I got before I left for my trip. I've been too busy to post anything over the last few weeks because hubby and I have been busy building a wall unit/cat shelf, which means the thrifted items have accumulated.

On to the stuff!

Vintage wood baker's table that's been refurbished and painted in turquoise and white. For sale on Kijiji here.

Framed botanical prints. Bought these for myself but they've just been sitting in my living room. For sale here.

I adore these carousel horse lamps. 

Found this wood lampshade the other day and it goes well with the brown horse.

Thrift Haul: Catch-Up

Do you ever notice that once you get a little behind on doing something one day, it snowballs, and then a week later, you're incredibly behind?

I mean, I don't have a schedule to meet or anything but I've missed a couple Thrift Haul posts and shit's been piling up in my office. I also solved the mystery of the missing pitcher. It showed up on my sales report today with a vendor's discount so I'm guessing another vendor in the mall saw it and then hid it so they could buy it today. Makes no difference to me, as long as it was bought.

Kind of ironic that these are up in my work space. Anyway, I hope to get rid of these soon because they just remind me of a child's bedroom and you know, I hate kids. They're made of fabric, have padding, and grosgrain trim. For sale here, $30.

I liked these a lot but they were a tad too small for me.

 I also loved these but they were way too big. Can't remember the designer either, but they reminded me of Roger Vivier.
